Hey pssst

I have news.

I have a literary agent who likes my novel and thinks she can sell it to a publisher.

I don't think I have EVER been this excited but I am really, really calm. Inside I am doing that arm-waving-dance that Kermit the frog does.

Champagne tonightski.

Hey, nice one. I'll hold off getting too excited until further developments, but in the mean time ... Take it away, frog.

OMG! That's fantastic! Just to get noticed is exciting in itself. Waiting for further news. Funny, I haven't been to your blog for quite a while and I always wonder how you're going with the writing thing, and I come here today and read this! YAY! - keep calm and carry on...

Yes, bloody brilliant. How exciting and excruciating all at once!
When my publisher rang with the good news, I think she held the phone away from her ear for a few minutes while my vernacular turned decidedly purple - in a joyous way of course.
Then ... put the phone down, walk around in circles, flapping hands around ...

I know I KNOW

Thanks everyone, I'm excited but have managed to make myself sick - you know how everything happens at once. That martini last night - not a good idea. The several champagnes Fri night - not a good idea also. The afternoon spent in bed today - a good idea. Off to bed again now with Wuthering. Am loving re-reading it as an adult.

And hello random passerby. COME BACK.

News will be a while coming Jo and Alex, so don't hold your breath but we had a chat Friday morning and it went pretty pretty well as Larry David would say.

Fabulous, Melbs (I'll hold back on the exclamation marks just for you). It's tough JUST getting an agent. Well done, you

Thanks squibby, it is pretty good but let's see how it proceeds, shall we. Trying to keep a bit of a lid on it.

Where are you and what are you doing? I've lost track of your sitch.
